Diplomas and Certificate IV at GDC
Diplomas sit at Level 5 of the Australian Qualifications Framework, built for people carrying out moderately complex work in a specialised field and those with frontline management accountabilities. Certificate IV qualifications sit at Level 4, providing the foundation skills and knowledge for operational roles in public safety and emergency management.
Each qualification is crafted and delivered by industry leaders and managers who use their specialised knowledge to teach practical, applied skills. Study online or by distance at your own pace, or face-to-face at your workplace, with flexible enrolment so you can start at any time.

Entry, delivery and recognition
The Diploma of Business and the Diploma of Project Management have no entry requirement. The Diploma of Human Resource Management requires either completion of BSBHRM411, BSBHRM412, BSBHRM415 and BSBHRM417 or equivalent competencies, or two years of full-time relevant work experience. Entry requirements for the Certificate IV programmes are being confirmed — contact GDC for details. Each programme page sets out its own criteria in full.
